You can color without telling us who you are. There are no ads, and we do not follow what you do. The app keeps your settings and progress on your device. A grown-up decides if a picture is saved or shared.
What the app collects
Paint by Color collects no personal data from children or adults.
- No accounts or sign-ins.
- No advertising.
- No analytics or tracking.
- No third-party SDKs.
The app makes no network calls except through Apple’s in-app purchase system.
Settings, progress, and audio
Settings and coloring progress are stored only on the device using iOS UserDefaults. This information is not sent to us.
Audio is bundled in the app or uses on-device speech. These audio features do not make network calls.
One-time purchase
Paint by Color offers a one-time $4.99 unlock through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple handles the purchase entirely. We never see your payment information.
Apple’s handling of purchase and payment information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and terms.
Saving and sharing pictures
Saving or sharing images happens only when a grown-up chooses to do so, behind a parent gate. The app does not automatically save or share images.
If a grown-up chooses to share an image with another app or service, that destination’s privacy practices apply to its handling of the image.
Children’s privacy and COPPA
Paint by Color is designed for children ages 3–5. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) protects the privacy of children under 13 and gives parents control over the collection of their children’s personal information.
Our approach is to collect no personal information from children. The app has no accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs. Children do not need to provide personal information to use the app.
Parents’ rights and choices
Under COPPA, parents have rights to review personal information collected from their child, request its deletion, and refuse further collection or use. Because Paint by Color collects no personal data, we have no child personal information from the app to review or delete, and no ongoing collection to stop.
Settings and progress remain on the device; we cannot access or delete them remotely. A grown-up controls whether images are saved or shared through the parent-gated features.
